Anime Cinematics

Anime-style moments for your table, in any game system. Everything is drawn on top of the scene, using the character's own portrait or token art.

What it does

• Critical cut-in. When a natural 20 is rolled, a band slashes across every screen with the character's portrait, speed lines and "CRITICAL!". Natural 1s can get their own darker version.
• Chapter title. One click and every player sees a cinematic title card for the new chapter.
• Open your eyes. The screen goes black and opens like eyelids, with an optional line of text.
• Character introduction. The portrait slides in with a name and a subtitle, like the first time a character shows up in an anime.
• Uses the character art, or the token art when there is none. Transparent PNGs (cut-out characters, round tokens) are drawn over the band, with no box.
• Waits for Dice So Nice to finish rolling, so the cut-in never spoils the result.
• Each player can turn effects off or reduce motion.
